Buchanan's Brachycorythis is a cool to warm growing orchid belonging to the sub family Orchidoideae native to Angola, Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Uganda, and Zimbabwe. It is named after the English Original Collector of Speceies late in the 19th century early in the 1900's.
