Christy's Calyprochilum is a monopodial cool to hot growing orchid belonging to the sub family Epidendroideae native to Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Eritrea, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Brazil, Uganda, and Zambia. It is named after the English Orchid Enthusiast and collector of the type in the 19th century.
