The White is a sympodial cold growing orchid belonging to the sub family Epidendroideae native to Ecuador.
Plant Description
Sympodial. Grows to 40cm. Each new growth has a single erect arching, elliptic, lance shaped, oblong shaped leaf that grows to 2-35cm long. Pseudobulbs grow to 1.5-6cm. The plant forms clusters over time

Climate
Grows at high elevations. Rainfall ranges from 3mm to 53mm per day, heaviest in October and lightest in March. Temperature ranges from 7C to 20C, highest in June (8C to 20C) and lowest in May (7C to 18C).
Watering
These orchids are sensitive to excessive watering and should only be watered when they look thirsty. Water infrequently and ensure that the roots are dry before watering. Keep an eye on them especially during hot weather as overwatering can lead to rot, whereas underwatering may result in wilting or shriveling, which while unattractive, will not kill the plant.
