Welwitsch's Disa is a cold growing orchid belonging to the sub family Orchidoideae native to Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Uganda, and Zambia. It is named after the Austrian Botanist in Angola in the 19th century.
