The Knotted Domingoa is a cool to warm growing orchid belonging to the sub family Epidendroideae native to Dominican Republic and Haiti. The name refers to the prominent nodes on the inflorescence - one is visible in the photo just to the right of the flower.

Each new growth has a single thick erect leaf
