The Lanceolate Fernandezia is a monopodial cold growing orchid belonging to the sub family Epidendroideae native to Colombia.
Plant Description
Monopodial. Grows to 25cm. Each new growth has numerous thick erect leaves that grow to 0.7-2.5cm long
Climate
Grows at low to high elevations. Rainfall ranges from 18mm to 112mm per day, heaviest in October and lightest in July. Humidity ranges from 62% to 81%, highest in December and lowest in August. Temperature ranges from 6C to 20C, highest in September (9C to 20C) and lowest in January (6C to 15C).
