Rautanen's Habenaria is a warm growing orchid belonging to the sub family Orchidoideae native to Angola, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. It is named after the Finnish Missionary in Namimbia late in the 19th century early in the 1900's.
