Plant Description

Grows to 44cm. Each new growth has numerous oblong shaped leaves that grow to 2.5-35cm long. Pseudobulbs grow to 2-9cm

Climate

Grows at high elevations. Rainfall ranges from 33mm to 277mm per day, heaviest in November and lightest in August. Humidity ranges from 62% to 79%, highest in December and lowest in August. Temperature ranges from 17C to 31C, highest in August (17C to 31C) and lowest in May (17C to 29C).

Watering

These orchids prefer a wet-dry cycle between waterings, they should be watered frequently but only when the moisture is approaching dryness, where the pot feels light and/or the media looks dry. Keep an eye on mounted orchids in warm weather as they may dehydrate quickly.

Fertiliser

Reduce fertiliser when plant is dormant.
