Plant Description

Sympodial. Each new growth has numerous lance shaped leaves that grow to 2-35cm long. Pseudobulbs grow to 2.5-7cm

Climate

Grows at low to high elevations. Rainfall ranges from 56mm to 221mm per day, heaviest in October and lightest in August. Humidity ranges from 60% to 82%, highest in November and lowest in May. Temperature ranges from 18C to 27C, highest in July (19C to 27C) and lowest in March (18C to 24C).

Watering

These orchids prefer a wet-dry cycle between waterings, they should be watered frequently but only when the moisture is approaching dryness, where the pot feels light and/or the media looks dry. Keep an eye on mounted orchids in warm weather as they may dehydrate quickly.
