Plant Description

Monopodial. Grows to 4-6cm. Each new growth has numerous thick terete shaped, tongue shaped leaves that grow to 0.2-0.7cm long

Climate

Grows at high elevations. Rainfall ranges from 8mm to 114mm per day, heaviest in July and lightest in November. Humidity ranges from 36% to 53%, highest in July and lowest in January. Temperature ranges from 7C to 26C, highest in May (12C to 26C) and lowest in January (7C to 23C).

Watering

These orchids prefer a wet-dry cycle between waterings, they should be watered frequently but only when the moisture is approaching dryness, where the pot feels light and/or the media looks dry. Keep an eye on mounted orchids in warm weather as they may dehydrate quickly.
