The Calypso Pleurothallis is a cool to warm growing orchid belonging to the sub family Epidendroideae native to Ecuador. The name refers the nymph Calypso who hid Ulysses, an allusion to the hidden flower.

These orchids thrive in cool, conditions with good airflow.
