The Microscopic Quekettia is a sympodial hot growing orchid belonging to the sub family Epidendroideae native to Brazil and Argentina.
Plant Description
Sympodial. Grows to 12cm. Each new growth has a single thick terete shaped leaf that grows to 0.2-12cm long

Grows at low to high elevations. Rainfall ranges from 81mm to 244mm per day, heaviest in May and lightest in January. Humidity ranges from 77% to 89%, highest in June and lowest in March. Temperature ranges from 19C to 33C, highest in February (22C to 33C) and lowest in September (19C to 31C).
Watering
These orchids prefer a wet-dry cycle between waterings, they should be watered frequently but only when the moisture is approaching dryness, where the pot feels light and/or the media looks dry. Keep an eye on mounted orchids in warm weather as they may dehydrate quickly.
Fertiliser
Reduce fertiliser when plant is dormant during Spring.
