Rodriguezia sucrei is a sympodial orchid belonging to the sub family Epidendroideae native to Brazil.

Sympodial. Grows to 0.2-40cm. Each new growth has numerous rigid leaves that grow to 1.3-4cm long. Pseudobulbs grow to 1.5-4cm

Grows at low elevations. Rainfall ranges from 28mm to 201mm per day, heaviest in June and lightest in February. Humidity ranges from 80% to 84%, highest in September and lowest in January. Temperature ranges from 16C to 32C, highest in July (22C to 32C) and lowest in January (16C to 26C).
Watering
These orchids prefer a wet-dry cycle between waterings, they should be watered frequently but only when the moisture is approaching dryness, where the pot feels light and/or the media looks dry. Keep an eye on mounted orchids in warm weather as they may dehydrate quickly.
