Plant Description

Sympodial. Each new growth has numerous oblong shaped leaves that grow to 0.25-3cm long. Pseudobulbs grow to 0.4-0.7cm

Climate

Grows at high elevations. Rainfall ranges from 20mm to 94mm per day, heaviest in November and lightest in January. Temperature ranges from 15C to 22C, highest in August (16C to 22C) and lowest in September (15C to 21C).

Watering

These orchids prefer a wet-dry cycle between waterings, they should be watered frequently but only when the moisture is approaching dryness, where the pot feels light and/or the media looks dry. Keep an eye on mounted orchids in warm weather as they may dehydrate quickly.
