Renato's Sigmatostalix is a sympodial cool to warm growing orchid belonging to the sub family Epidendroideae native to Peru. It is named after the Sr Renato Villena Peruvian Orchid Enthusiast Current.

Plant Description

Sympodial. Each new growth has a single lance shaped leaf that grows to 1-8cm long. Pseudobulbs grow to 1.2-3cm

Climate

Grows at high elevations. Rainfall ranges from 33mm to 109mm per day, heaviest in September and lightest in November. Temperature ranges from 13C to 25C, highest in March (15C to 25C) and lowest in January (13C to 23C).
